Arrival

For surgery, please arrive one and one-half (1.5) hours prior to your scheduled surgery time. Our registration department opens at 6 am.

Please call the hospital registration desk at 765.448.8000 as soon as possible if you must cancel your surgery or if your arrival will be delayed.

Patient Belongings Bag

Upon admission, you will receive a patient belongings bag for clothing and other items. Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital cannot assume responsibility for personal belongings, so please use the storage space in each room to keep personal belongings hidden from view. You are encouraged to leave non-essential valuables at home.

• Please label all personal items and patient-owned medical equipment you bring to the hospital with your name.
• Keep glasses, orthodontia, hearing aids and prostheses in their storage cases when not in use. Label the case with your name and store them in the bedside table or armoire if not needed.
• Store personal clothing in your armoire or suitcase.
