Ball Memorial Foundation
The IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Foundation Supports:
“The Foundation Supports...” is a tagline used often in our publications and online. But, it is a very important one because the Foundation has supported many important projects and services so far this year.
The purpose of the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Foundation is to serve as a resource for the Hospital and to enable it to expand with excellence its provision of healthcare, education, research, and wellness. In the first nine months, the Foundation has provided IU Health Ball Memorial with over $1.3 million in funding for cancer center renovations, oncology research, the sleep lab relocation and renovation, ultrasound machines for the Perinatal Center, medical mission trips, and many other hospital programs that make an impact on the lives of patients and their families.
The Foundation and its Board is also proud to support local efforts which help improve the health of the communities we serve including a successful cancer screening in conjunction with our Family Medicine Residency Program and Second Harvest Foodbank’s “backpack” food program at the Roy C. Buley Community Center.
These projects could not be funded without the generous support of our donors who choose to make annual gifts, gifts in memory or in honor of someone special, and planned gifts to support IU Health Ball Memorial’s journey to preeminence. Whether your passion is to support graduate medical education, cancer services, rehabilitation services, cardiology services, women and children’s services, hospice, or another area of importance to you, your gift makes a difference.
I hope you will consider a gift in support of the many important programs and services of the hospital before the end of the year.
Tricia A. Stanley,
President
