Awake Support Group
The Awake Support Group focuses on people with sleeping disorders. This group meets the third Thursday of each month at Medical Consultants, 2525 W. University, Suite 300. It does not meet in January, February, July or August. For more information, please contact 765.741.2962.
Better Breathers Support Group
The Better Breathers Support Group focuses on people suffering from lung disease. This group meets at 2 pm the first Wednesday of each month in the Outpatient Medical Pavilion at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Diabetes Support Group of Delaware County
The Diabetes Support Group of Delaware County focuses on helping people with diabetes. This group meets at 7 pm the last Thursday of each month at the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Jackson Street Center (old Marsh building) at 2901 W. Jackson Street, Muncie, Ind. No appointments are needed. For more information, please call 765.747.3101. (Meeting meets the Thursday prior to Thanksgiving and no meeting the month of December).

Head Injury Support Group
The Head Injury Support Group works with survivors of brain injuries. This group meets at 6:30 pm on the first Tuesday of the month at Medical Consultants, located at 800 South Tillotson Avenue, Muncie, Ind. Group invites survivor’s families, spouses, friends, significant others and professionals to interact. This group focuses on people in Delaware and surrounding counties; however, anyone is welcome. Healing Hearts
Healing Hearts works with cardiac patients. This group Meets at 6:30 pm on the second Wednesday of every other month in the Cardiac Rehabilitation break room at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. For more information, please contact IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Cardiac Rehab at 765.747.3773.
Multiple Sclerosis Support Group
The Multiple Sclerosis Support Group works with people who have the multiple sclerosis. This group meets at 7 pm the first Wednesday of each month (September – May) at Hazelwood Church, 1400 W. University Avenue, Muncie, Ind. The group is affiliated with the national Multiple Sclerosis Society. For more information, please contact 765.284.1650.
Parkinson Support Group
The Parkinson Support Group helps people with Parkinson’s disease. This group meets from 2 pm – 3 pm the third Saturday of each month, expect August, at 3700 W. Riverside Avenue, Muncie, Ind. The fee is $10 a year, but is waived for those with an inability to pay. For more information, please contact 765.284.5848.
Vision Support Group
The Vision Support Group works with people who have any type of vision loss. This group meets from 10:15 am – 12pm the fourth Friday of each month at 2517 W. 8th Street. The sessions usually feature a guest speaker and time for participants to share their experiences. Friends and family members of those with visual impairments are encouraged and welcome to attend. We Can Cope Together
We Can Cope Together works with people with cancer and their families. This group meets from 5:30 pm – 7 pm on the second Thursday of each month at the Indiana Univeristy Health Bariatric Center, located at 2901 W. Jackson Street, Muncie, Ind.
