IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana
The IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency was established in 1969; the first in Indiana.
Today, the program features a dynamic and experienced faculty, with a modern, free-standing family medicine clinic located next door to a 371-bed tertiarry referral hospital.
Tradition and vision combine to provide an educational center of excellence, where the art of caring is integrated with the spirit of inquiry.
In 2010, the Family Medicine Residency was accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for a five-year cycle, the maximum allowed.
