Preparation for Examinations
Many radiology exams and procedures require special preparations, such as fasting for a particular amount of time, drinking fluids before your exam or not urinating before your visit. An IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Access Service representative will call you before your exam to confirm your appointment and discuss your preparation instructions.
General information about your exam and the preparations you may need to take can be found by clicking on your specific procedure. You will be directed to useful information that will help you prepare for your visit and exam.
If you have any questions about what is required, please call Access Services Centralized Scheduling at 765-751-2727. You can also ask questions of the Access Services representative when you receive your confirmation call.
