IU Health Bedford Hospital's Volunteer Services is committed to both complementing and supplementing other hospital departments by providing compassionate, well-trained, and resourceful individuals who provide quality care and customer satisfaction.

IU Health Bedford Hospital volunteers are utilized in numerous areas throughout the healthcare system.

Morning and afternoon assignments are available to volunteers with a complimentary meal provided each time you volunteer. Other benefits include complimentary TB skin test, educational opportunities, yearly flu shots and volunteer recognition events.

The Junior-Shadowing Volunteer program provides wonderful volunteer opportunities for those 13 and in the seventh grade and the program affords the volunteers an opportunity to have one-on-one contact with the patients.
