Behavioral Health

Behavioral Health services include psychiatric assessment and medication management, along with individual, family and marriage counseling. The staff consists of professionally trained social workers, a board certified psychiatrist and nurse practitioners in psychiatry.
Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital is the only hospital in Lawrence county that offers a full range of outpatient psychiatric and counseling services.

Behavioral Health offers emergency services to deal with concerns between 5 pm and 8 am weekdays and from 5 pm on Friday until 8 am Monday.
