Indiana University Health Blackford Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary program of care for patients with chronic respiratory impairment that is individually tailored and designed to optimize physical and social performance and autonomy. Pulmonary Rehabilitation is used by patients struggling with obstructive and restrictive pulmonary diseases such as: COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, bronchiolitis obliterans, interstitial diseases, chest wall diseases, and neuromuscular diseases. Other conditions such as: lung cancer, before and after lung transplantation, post-thoracic surgery, ventilator dependency, and sleep apnea are all qualifying diagnoses for Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
