Our next Bariatric Support Group Meeting will be from 6 - 7 pm, Thursday, October 11th in AG410 at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital. Meetings are led by IU Health Arnett Bariatrics Dietitian Nicole Harmeson. The event is open to Bariatric patients, family and friends from around the Lafayette area. People are invited to share about their weight loss experiences in an open, confidential environment. Discussions are topic-based. Sample discussion themes include relationships and weight loss, emotional eating habits, dining out with others, holidays and body image.

Nicole Harmeson, RD, IBCLC is the bariatrics program registered dietitian. Nicole is from Crawfordsville, Indiana and has lived in the Lafayette community since she studied Dietetics, Nutrition, Fitness and Health at Purdue. She is passionate about helping people and has worked with the Power Over Pounds program. Being part of the IU Health team has inspired her to continue making a difference in her patients’ lives.
