Board of Directors

Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital Board of Directors represents the community-at-large. Ten of the Board’s members are appointed by Indiana University Health, including six people nominated by IU Health Bloomington Hospital, the Local Council of Women and IU Health Bloomington Hospital’s medical staff, two physicians nominated by the IU Health Bloomington Hospital medical staff, and two leaders from IU Health. Seven board members are appointed by the Local Council of Women, the organization that founded Bloomington Hospital more than 100 years ago, and two physicians are directly appointed to the Board by the IU Health Bloomington Hospital medical staff.
