Registered dietitians at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital provide individual and group counseling for children and adults. These dietetic experts explain how to optimize good health and weight through sound nutrition habits and individualized meal planning. Specialized diet therapy is also available for the management of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hypoglycemia, cancer, food allergies, high-risk pregnancy, and other conditions.
A doctor's order is required for any nutrition counseling services. Appointments are available Monday - Friday, hours vary. The Nutrition Therapy office is located in the Adams House of IU Health Bloomington Hospital Community Health at 431 South College Avenue, and counseling is also available in some physician's offices.
