If you would like to provide health ministry for your congregation, join the Parish Nurse Program, sponsored by Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital in cooperation with area faith communities. Through the program, registered nurses can start a health ministry team at their place of worship to facilitate the physical, spiritual, and emotional health of their congregation.
Parish nurses volunteer several hours a week to provide:
Health and wellness education
Individual and family health counseling
Resources for the various health needs of their congregation
