Physical Exams

Post-Offer/Pre-Placement Physical Examinations

These physical examination evaluations answer an important question: Can this worker meet the physical demands of a specific job duty? It will also help determine if any medical conditions exist that may need to be considered when matching the worker to the job.

Department of Transportation (DOT) Examinations

Operators of commercial vehicles are required by law to have a Medical Examiners certificate stating they are physically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle. Each of our clinics can perform the certification physical and provide the written documentation necessary to satisfy this federal requirement.

Baseline Examinations

A baseline physical examination, performed at the beginning of employment, provides documentation that is useful for comparison to subsequent examinations in order to determine health changes occurring over time.
Medical Surveillance

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OS HA) mandates surveillance specifically for those workers where harmful health consequences have been linked to workplace exposures. Surveillance examinations may include a respirator wearer’s examination, a hearing evaluation or other examinations required by OSHA’s substance-specific standards. Board-certified occupational physicians and nurses are available to customize a medical surveillance program to keep your company safe, productive and OSHA-compliant.
