Everyone is a caregiver in one way or another. As IU Health professionals, we chose to be in this business because we believe in the very profound purpose of what we do as a place of care giving. We also know there are many distractions and pressures that sometimes make that purpose seem distant or even unreachable. The Gift of CareGiving sessions are a two-day event focusing upon your personal and organizational renewal. This workshop helps determine how well we take care of ourselves and how that affects the care we give to patients, our families and others. The program focuses on helping people identify opportunities for self-improvement and dealing with those barriers that can often be most challenging such as stress, time management and relationships. The language of possibility transforms "I can't" to "it's possible."
Healing Healthcare is a two-day seminar for IU Health employees focusing on communication and self awareness. Familiar information is presented from a new perspective that provides an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Goals include:
- Develop trust and internal resourcefulness.
- Revitalize enthusiasm and morale
- Communicate and relate more effectively
- More fully contribute yourself to you work and the people you serve
