The IU Health Learning Alliance supports healthcare professionals in keeping abreast of current practices. They are required to earn professional continuing education credits by learning relevant content as well as demonstrating competency in pertinent skills.

Continuing Education Credits for Nurses
IU Health has been approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the Indiana State Nurses Association. ISNA is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Read about current nursing CE offerings.
Continuing Education for Physicians
The Indiana University Division of Continuing Medical Education (CME) supports IU Health's efforts to provide effective patient care, research, and lifelong learning to Indiana physicians and health professionals with continuing medical education opportunities. CME courses and other offerings are held every month, along with periodic visiting professor programs.
Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health also presents CME topics throughout the state.
