About Dr. Shipchandler
Taha Shipchandler, MD, is an Indianapolis-based surgeon specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His focus is primarily on cosmetic surgery and reconstructive procedures of the face, head and neck.
Dr. Shipchandler completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Prior to that, he completed his residency in Otolaryngology (ENT) at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Shipchandler is a native Hoosier; he grew up in Ft. Wayne, and he completed medical school with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM). Today, Dr. Shipchandler is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at IUSM, and he is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He also conducts research studies to add to the collective knowledgebase about the face, head and neck.
