Biography
Dr. Jeremy Herrmann is a cardiothoracic surgeon with expertise in pediatric heart surgery. His clinical interests include the full age range of congenital heart disease including heart transplantation and chest wall disorders. He specializes in pediatric heart surgery, adult congenital cardiac surgery, and pediatric cardiac transplant surgery.
Dr. Herrmann believes that every patient is incredibly unique, and his goal is to improve the function of a children’s hearts and their overall quality of life. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. He likes to coach his son’s sports and participate in their other activities, spend time outdoors and landscape.
Dr. Herrmann is an Indiana native. He received his undergraduate degree from Wabash College and earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine during which he completed a fellowship too. Following residency, he completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at University of Pennsylvania and his congenital cardiac surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
