You should not have to go far from home for great emergency medical care. The experienced emergency medicine team at IU Health Frankfort Hospital provides confident, fast treatment for a range of emergency medical conditions—from broken bones to heart attacks and strokes.

Whether you or a loved one has an emergency or accident or suffers a traumatic injury, our team of board certified emergency medicine physicians is ready to quickly assess and treat any medical need.

If necessary, Indiana University Health LifeLine can transfer patients from our Emergency Medicine department to another hospital for higher-level care. Your provider will determine the level of care needed and choose the most appropriate destination hospital for your needs.

IU Health has access to a Level III Trauma Center at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital. Patients who require a higher level of care will be transferred to a Level I Trauma Center. IU Health has access to a Level I Trauma Center for adults at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital while Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health provides the only pediatric Level 1 Trauma care in Indiana.

Through our partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine, IU Health Frankfort Hospital works to improve outcomes for critically ill and injured patients through research and clinical trials.
