IU Health North Office of Philanthropy
Our mission is to provide exceptional family-centered care and service for our patients while fostering the health of our communities.
We understand that caring for our patients means caring for the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – as well as for their family and the community around them. Through the Office of Philanthropy, we’re committed to increasing our support to exceed our patients’ expectations, while addressing the needs of our community.
As a nonprofit hospital, we provide $2 million in charity and over $7 million in community benefit each year. With your tax-deductible gift, you will help us further our mission and contribute to the assistance we provide to our patients and surrounding communities.
Allocated funds include Breast Care, Professional Development, Social Work and Area of Greatest Need. If you would like to donate, you can do so online or by sending a check to the address in the box at the right. Please make checks payable to IU Health North Hospital and add “Philanthropy” to the memo.
The Serenity Garden at IU Health North Hospital
Our new Serenity Garden, made possible by a generous gift from the G. Marlyne Sexton family, is a place of rest and a peaceful escape from the struggles of a health care journey. To celebrate the grand opening of the garden, the Office of Philanthropy is working with grateful families, community members, friends, and all those invested in our mission to offer naming opportunities in the garden.
The Serenity Garden at IU Health North Hospital is a wonderful space to leave a legacy with a gift to the hospital. Gifts of various levels will be recognized with personalization of elements of the garden, from engraved pavers in three sizes and colors, to a gorgeous pergola, to attractive metal and wood benches and table and chair sets. Individual or corporate tributes can be made to help honor or remember a special time in life’s journey.
While the gift will be recognized in the garden, you will be able to direct or restrict your gift to specific areas or programs in the hospital, such as our Breast Care program, education, and area of greatest need. If you are interested in participating or would like more information, learn more here or contact Tracy Miller at the email or phone number provided in the box at the right.
Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health North Hospital Pediatric Wish List
Each year, Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health North Hospital receives many requests from the members of our community seeking information on ideas for gifts they can donate to hospital patients. In response, each year the Child Life team at IU Health North creates a list of needs for our patients.
All donations may be dropped off at the Welcome Desk, located in the Atrium at IU Health North Hospital, Monday through Friday from 6 am until 7 pm, and on Saturday mornings.
We thank you for your support.
