TRADITIONAL CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION SERIES:
This four-class series discusses the third trimester of pregnancy, the labor and birth process, medical interventions, vaginal and cesarean birth, the postpartum period, baby care basics, and breastfeeding.  Also included in this series are labor rehearsal and a tour of the OB unit. Classes meet twice per week, usually on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6pm-9pm.

WEEKEND EXPRESS PRENATAL CLASS:
This one day class is a fast-paced version of the Traditional Series. Topics include the third trimester of pregnancy, the labor and birth process, medical interventions, vaginal and cesarean birth, the postpartum period, baby care basics, and breastfeeding.  Also included are labor rehearsal and a tour of the OB unit. This class is held one Saturday a month, 9am-3pm.

SIBLING CLASS:
This one hour class is geared to ages 2-10 years old and is an interactive presentation on what to expect with a new sibling at home. Children are encouraged to bring a small doll or stuffed animal to class to use in the practice of feeding, diapering and holding a newborn. A short tour of the OB unit and a snack are also included. Class time is 9 am one Saturday each month.

CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION DVD “TO-GO":
This DVD is designed for expectant parents that cannot attend on-site prenatal classes. Topics include the labor and birth process, stages of labor, medical interventions, vaginal and cesarean birth, and comfort measures for labor.

SAFE SITTER BABYSITTING CLASS:
This seven hour, one day class is geared toward 11-13 year old boys and girls and teaches babysitting business skills, basic child care skills and what to do in an emergency.  Materials that the student will take to babysitting appointments and lunch are included.
