Diabetes Programs
Outpatient Education
Outpatient consultation is available to people with diabetes and their families. If you are newly diagnosed or need assistance with achieving control, our individualized education will help you. Participants enter the program through physician referral.
Topics include:
- Metabolic syndrome/Insulin resistance – physician referral
- Pre-diabetes – physician referral
- Type I and II diabetes – physician referral
- Gestational diabetes - physician referral
- Insulin pump and personal continuous glucose monitor training – physician referral
- 5 day (or 120 hour) continuous glucose sensoring – physician referral
Diabetes Support Groups
Available for those with diabetes and their family members. In these support groups, we discuss relevant topics and allow time for questions and answers. Once a quarter, we have a large group seminar with special speakers and activities.
