Working together like nowhere else
At Indiana University Health Goshen Hospital Heart & Vascular Center, we realize every part of your body is connected by a sophisticated system of blood vessels. As a result, problems in your heart and its arteries can cause life-threatening conditions anywhere.
That’s why we offer complete, comprehensive heart and vascular care. Unlike anywhere else, we’ve gathered board-certified surgeons, cardiologists, neurologists and radiologists in one place to work together. Combining years of knowledge and experience, these experts share ideas, contribute several points of view and team up to provide innovative, individualized treatment plans that consider therapies and treatments from several specialties.
Every second counts
We have door-to-balloon times twice as fast as the national average. Since every second counts for a heart attack patient, we work together to get the patient who enters our Emergency Department into treatment quickly so blood starts flowing again. Less time for treatment also means better patient outcomes.
Saving lives and limbs
Due to our truly collaborative approach, we can often save limbs when other places would prescribe amputation. In addition, we regularly offer vascular screenings at a reduced cost, helping you detect any serious problems before it’s too late. In this unique, patient-centered environment, you receive the most complete care possible, even for the most complex conditions.
Heart conditions we treat include:
• Coronary artery disease
• Heart attack (myocardial infarction)
• Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
• Aneurysms, including abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)
• Angina pectoris (chest pain)
• Heart failure
• Blood clots
• Diabetic ulcers and other non-healing wounds
• Venous insufficiency
• Congestive heart disease
• High blood pressure (hypertension)
• High cholesterol
If you could be at risk for, or have been diagnosed with any of these conditions, call 574.533.7476 to learn more about how IU Health Goshen Hospital Heart & Vascular Center can help you.
