Helping deliver high quality outcomes while reducing costs
Accountable care is a key component of healthcare reform. The intent of accountable care efforts is to improve quality, lower costs, and increase coordination among healthcare providers. IU Health Quality Partners can help participating physicians reach these goals.
As members of IU Health Quality Partners, physicians adopt a standard set of quality measures, provide measurable patient data, and support the highest level of care and patient safety. We provide a technology infrastructure and sophisticated software tools to manage and report on quality and utilization measures for inpatient and ambulatory care environments, delivering data across the full continuum of care.
The program currently has over 2,700 specialty and primary care physicians, both independent and employed by IU Health Physicians and other participating health systems. These physician members are located in the Indianapolis, Bloomington, Lafayette, Muncie, Bedford, Terre Haute, Kokomo, and Tipton areas.
Developing our software systems

• Hospital facility and outpatient settings
• Physician practices

• Independent prescription networks
• Independent laboratories
• Regional health information exchanges
