Our Craniofacial Anomalies multidisciplinary team is comprised of board certified doctors, therapists and nurse specialists who have dedicated their practices to the care of children with facial differences such as:
In addition to board certification in plastic surgery, our craniofacial surgeons have completed an additional year of intensive training in reconstruction of the face and skull. Our craniofacial unit, one of the first established in the United States, remains at the forefront of pediatric and facial reconstruction.
We continue to define the standard of care for facial reconstruction through publication of our clinical outcomes, regional, national and international lectureship and through active engagement in national and international surgical societies.
First, you’ll submit a completed IU Health International Patient Form along with a copy of your passport. We’ll then review your most current medical records, in English, along with any scans or tests and let you know if you’re a candidate for treatment. Then, an International Patient Coordinator will work with you, your insurance company and government to secure financial clearance.
