Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)—An Overview

Many patients demonstrating heart failure due to chronic aortic stenosis are deemed too high risk to undergo open surgery. An innovative technique, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), can provide symptom relief for patients who previously have had no other options.
