Heartsaver® First Aid/CPR/AED

Description

This course teaches the critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage a first aid or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Content includes how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies as well as perform CPR and use an AED.

The course is open to anyone with limited or no medical training. In addition, the course is intended for anyone who needs a completion card in first aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Cost is $65. Cash, credit card or money order is accepted.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
