IU Health La Porte Hospital serves residents of La Porte, Berrien, Lake, Starke, St. Joseph, Marshall, Pulaski and Porter Counties through the main hospital campus in La Porte, IU Health Starke Hospital in Knox, Indiana and several outpatient and office locations across its service area.
IU Health La Porte Hospital was the first in all of Northern Indiana to be named a Magnet designated hospital. Awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Magnet desigation and is the highest designation available for recognition of excellence in nursing.
