Hospice Fund Campaign
The Foundation supports the IU Health La Porte VNA Services. Hospice provides compassionate care to individuals who are at the terminal stage of life by assisting with their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Services are offered in La Porte, Porter, Starke and St. Joseph counties. Hospice also helps families cope with the stress of caring for a terminally ill loved one and teaches them how to deal with loss and grief.
"The compassion and healpful spirit of all the VNA staff was tremendous. When given the opportunity to get involved and give back - it's important that you take that opportunity!" Meet Carl Savich, and learn about his journey with VNA Services.
Your contribution to the Hospice Fund provides care to those unable to pay for services, offsets expenses not reimbursed by insurance and provides volunteer training and bereavement programs.
Each year the Hospice Campaign supports the endeavors of the IU Health La Porte Hospital VNA Hospice program. This program offers compassionate care to people who are in the terminal stage of life and provides much needed support to their families and caregivers. Your contribution to the Hospice Campaign provides for volunteer training and bereavement programs. More importantly, your donation will help to provide the little things that make the end of life comfortable and manageable. Providing caregiver massages, transportation services, chaplain visits and personal care items helps to ease the challenges that multiply with a terminal patient.
Join us at The Foundation's Annual Holiday at the POPS Concert.
This concert is held the 2nd Saturday each December! Proceeds from this event support IU Health La Porte VNA Services!
