Mindfullness Based Stress Reduction Workshop - Class 1


Regain control of your inner peace,
no matter what is happening around you.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, a program sponsored by Indiana University Health, is designed to help people struggling with a variety of physical and/or mental conditions to become more aware, more present and relaxed, at peace and in control no matter what are their stressors in life.

  • Regain self-control. Learn ways to maintain greater balance and control during the challenges of stress, pain, illness and everyday life. Workshops help develop the skills to avoid emotional and physical depletion.
  • Participate more fully and joyfully in life. Learn to embrace the moment. Mindfulness meditation restores a sense of well-being and empowerment, no matter what challenges you face.
  • Restore your spirituality. MBSR allows you to mobilize your inner resources of mind, body and spirit. Discover new ways to tap into your inner source of energy.
  • Take an active role in healthcare. Learn skills to reduce pain, promote health and learn more positive responses to life stressors. MBSR can help you take responsibility for your own health and healing.

This class will run Saturdays, February 9th-April 6th, 9am - noon (break for the all-day retreat on March 23rd) resume on March 30, end April 6th.
