At Indiana University Health, our expert laboratory staff and physicians provide high-quality lab results to ensure you get the care you need. Our physicians, called pathologists, have extensive training and years of experience performing laboratory tests and diagnosing medical conditions.

Our team of highly skilled pathologists and staff at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital delivers both inpatient and outpatient pathology and lab services and provides valuable information for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions from heart attacks to cancer. We assist many specialists and primary care physicians in the monitoring and management of conditions to ensure your treatments are working appropriately.

Our pathology and lab services are available at many statewide locations, offering convenient care. Through our partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine, we operate an analysis lab in Indianapolis 24 hours a day, seven days per week to provide quick, correct results to physicians throughout the state. With IU Health, you can be assured you are receiving the highest quality results efficiently.

Lab Services

Pathology Services

Indiana University Health board certified pathologists specialize in evaluating all types of cancer including blood and bone marrow diseases, cardiovascular disease, neuropathology, including neurodegenerative disorders (such as Alzheimer’s disease), and kidney, liver and gastrointestinal transplant pathology.
