IU School of Medicine

Our connection to the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) allows us to conduct advanced research and ensure positive patient outcomes. IUSM holds more than $240 million in research grants and contracts, including more than $100 million in awards from the National Institutes of Health.

The IUSM Division of Continuing Medical Education provides the IU Health Transplant team research opportunities, continuing education, teaching opportunities and the latest technologies. IUSM provides learning activities such as:

  • Symposia
  • Conferences
  • Workshops
  • Seminars
  • Live webcasts
  • Mini-fellowships and regularly scheduled sessions
  • Enduring materials in print, multimedia and Internet-based formats
  • Tools for self-directed learning such as point-of-care (PoC) and performance improvement (PI) opportunities

When possible, learning is highly interactive, includes multiple exposures to the same content and is sequenced for learning.
