For hundreds of people each year, Indiana University Health Morgan Hospital provides specialized surgical care that restores health, enhances their quality of living, offers hope for the future, and even saves lives.

IU Health Morgan Hospital's Surgery Department is comprised of experienced surgeons, nurses and technicians who are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care for our patients. Our Medical Staff consists of board-certified surgeons who offer advanced surgical care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All of our surgical nurses are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Our surgeons are skilled in an extensive array of specialties, including orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, laser surgery, and general surgery.

IU Health Morgan Hospital maintains an extensive orientation program for surgical nurses, combining classroom education with hands-on training with a mentor. As they gain experience, surgical nurses are assigned to a specialty area, where they develop expertise that makes them a valuable asset to the surgeons on IU Health Morgan Hospital's Medical Staff.
