Eat out and support the Bloomington Hospital Foundation
An IU Health Bloomington Release
Bloomington, Ind. (May 8, 2012) – The week of May 14, five local restaurants will participate in Dine & Donate, a fundraising drive during which each restaurant will donate a portion of its profits to the Bloomington Hospital Foundation’s New Beginnings Campaign. This newly launched campaign will raise more than $700,000 over two years to significantly upgrade the Special Care Nursery at IU Health Bloomington Hospital to a Level III NICU (neonatal intensive care unit).
With a Level III NICU in Bloomington, more babies who need extra medical care soon after birth will be able to stay closer to home for their medical treatment.
“It’s important to me and our restaurant to participate in this project. The Bloomington Hospital Foundation does great things to support our local hospital, and we’re glad to be a part of helping to raise funds for the New Beginnings campaign,” says John Bailey from Malibu Grill.
