Indiana University Health Arnett breaks ground on West Lafayette expansion

An IU Health Arnett Release

Lafayette, IN – Indiana University Health Arnett is pleased to announce that the groundbreaking of its new, expanded West Lafayette location will occur on Thursday, June 28 at 9 am.

The new office building will be located at the old K-mart site off Sagamore West (US 52) in West Lafayette. The current office on Salisbury Street will relocate to the new building.

This move will positively impact the economic development of West Lafayette, city residents and IU Health Arnett.

“IU Health Arnett is committed to providing high quality care to the entire community. Every week nearly 900 patients visit our West Lafayette medical office for their healthcare needs. The expanded facility will allow us to provide these patients a more convenient, modern and efficient healthcare experience,” Dr. Timothy Fisher, internal medicine physician in West Lafayette says. “With this expansion of services, we will be able to better support a patient-centered medical home model of care through greater patient access, effective patient communication and improved management of chronic diseases.”

The new medical office is slated to open in the summer of 2013, with construction beginning on July 9. The facility will host 31,500 square feet with an additional 10,500 square feet for future expansion. The new medical office will house the current practices offered at the Salisbury Street location – internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology as well as a modernized and expanded urgent care with extended hours. Upon opening, the facility will also offer expanded laboratory services and full service outpatient imaging.
