Indiana University Health Physicians Opens Primary Care Practice in Plainfield

U Health Physicians is now offering primary care services in Plainfield. Sara Cook, MD, and Nicole Phillips, MD, began seeing patients on Oct. 15 at the new location – 2230 Stafford Drive, Suite 145, Plainfield. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 317.754.5080.

As internal medicine and pediatric specialists, they offer a wide range of services, including preventive care, acute and chronic illness management, treatment of minor injuries and coordination with other healthcare providers. Extended office hours and same-day appointments are also available.

Part of the local community for many years, both physicians are looking forward to practicing in Plainfield. As an internal medicine and pediatric physician, Dr. Cook is best positioned to care for the entire family from newborn to senior members. Dr. Cook earned her medical degree and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. She is board eligible in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Cook enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as running in local road races.

Dr. Phillips chose to practice internal medicine because she enjoys developing longstanding relationships with her patients and their families. She strives to provide a high level of individualized care with a focus on preventive measures and methods to effectively manage diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Dr. Phillips earned her medical degree and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Phillips enjoys reading and watching football and basketball.
