IU HEALTH ARNETT OFFERS CLASS FOR EXPECTING PARENTS IN FRANKFORT
An IU Health Arnett Release
Frankfort, Ind. – Indiana University Health Arnett is hosting a class on Tuesday, September 17 to help expecting parents to know what to expect with a newborn. The public is invited to attend the one hour session to share concerns and ask questions about caring for a new baby.
Our Riley Physician Pediatrics team will cover a variety of topics including bathing, breastfeeding, car seat safety and holding. Another topic that will be discussed is crying. “Crying is their wordless way of asking for help, said Anna Musser, CPNP. “You are not spoiling your baby by responding to a cry for help. You are making your baby feel secure and helping the child develop a sense of trust. The two most important gifts you give your baby are a sense of trust and the feeling of being safe.”
The Newborn Basics class starts at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, September 17 at IU Health Arnett Medical Offices at 550 S. Hoke Street, Frankfort.
For more information or to register, contact Anna Musser, CPNP, at 765.659.1110 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
