IU HEALTH ARNETT PHYSICIANS WELCOMES NEW CARDIOLOGIST, NIVAS BALASUBRAMANIYAM, MD

Indiana University Health Arnett is pleased to announce Nivas Balasubramaniyam, MD has recently joined our Cardiology department.

Dr. Balasubramaniyam earned his medical degree from Madras Medical College. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine through New York Medical College. In addition, Dr. Balasubramaniyam completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine – Cardiovascular Disease.

Nivas Balasubramaniyam, MD chose to practice cardiology because he is passionate about providing personalized and comprehensive cardiology care. He strives to be an advocate for his patients as they pursue their healthcare goals. Dr. Balasubramaniyam is actively involved in medical research and has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed publications. During his free time Dr. Balasubramaniyam enjoys, spending time with his wife and two children, traveling and reading.

Dr. Balasubramaniyam joined the Cardiology practice located at the IU Health Arnett Cardiology, 1116 N. 16th Street, Lafayette.
