—Indiana University Health Arnett is pleased to announce Andrew Swearingen, MD has recently joined our General Surgery department.
Dr. Swearingen earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He also completed his residency in General Surgery through Indiana University School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Swearingen completed a fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He is certified through the American Board of Surgery.
Andrew Swearingen, MD was drawn to the field of General Surgery because of the opportunities it offers to cure disease and improve patients’ quality of life. His practice philosophy is to be involved in all stages of a patient’s care, from initial diagnosis, surgery, if indicated, and follow-up care as needed. Dr. Swearingen feels fortunate to return home to Indiana.
Dr. Swearingen joined the General Surgery practice located at the IU Health Arnett Hospital Medical Office Building, 5177 McCarty Lane, Lafayette. In addition, Dr. Swearingen also practices at IU Health White Memorial Hospital.
