IU Health Arnett welcomes a Hospitalist
Lafayette, IN—Indiana University Health Arnett is pleased to announce that Kaushal Patel, MD has joined our Hospitalist department. As a hospitalist, Dr. Patel will work in collaboration with primary care physicians to provide medical care for hospitalized patients.
Dr. Patel received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in India and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Ever since Dr. Patel was a little boy, he wanted to be a physician. He joins IU Health Arnett after practicing for more than six years in Tennessee. Dr. Patel strives to provide the best possible care for his patients by continually improving his medical skills. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching action movies.
Hospitalist services include:
- 24/7 hospital coverage
- Co-management with surgical and specialty colleagues
- Communication with the patient, family and outpatient providers
- Consultations
- Daily assessments and ongoing hospital care
- Documentation using a fully electronic medical record
- Hospital admissions and discharges
- Dr. Patel will see patients at IU Health Arnett Hospital, 5165 McCarty Lane, Lafayette.
