IU HEALTH ARNETT WELCOMES NEW FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN, TRAVIS DAMS, MD

An IU Health Arnett Hospital Release

—Lafayette, Ind. – Indiana University Health Arnett is pleased to announce Travis Dams, MD has recently joined our Family Medicine department.

Travis Dams, MD values providing and organizing care for patients of all ages. In addition to traditional family medicine services Dr. Dams also provides prenatal and obstetrics care. His practice philosophy is to deliver encompassing care to patients inside and outside the hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Dams enjoys golfing, exercising and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Dams is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Saint Joseph Health System. Dr. Dams is certified through the American Board of Family Medicine.

Travis Dams, MD, will serve as a practicing physician with the new Indiana University School of Medicine – Arnett Family Medicine Residency program. The Arnett Family Medicine Residency program is located on the IU Health Arnett Hospital campus in the new, state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility. The Arnett Family Medicine Residency program is the first Family Medicine Residency in this area to receive official accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The inaugural class of residents is expected to begin July 2018.

Indiana University Health Arnett Family Medicine physicians provide primary healthcare for the entire family -- infants and children, teens, adults and seniors. They provide services at Greater Lafayette medical offices and regional medical centers.
