IU Health Bedford lifts visitor restrictions

—Bedford, Ind. (March 7, 2014) – With the number of flu cases in the community decreasing, IU Health Bedford Hospital has lifted the visitor restrictions put in place earlier this year. The voluntary restrictions were put in place to help protect patients, visitors and employees from the flu and to help control the spread of the virus.
Any time of year, however, visitors are encourage to use their best judgment when visiting loved ones in the hospital and to not visit if they are ill or have flu-like symptoms.
