Bloomington, Ind. (June 18, 2012) – Two nurse practitioners from Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians completed their doctorate degrees in nursing in May. Susan Lee works as a nurse practitioner at the IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians Family & Internal Medicine office on Clarizz Boulevard in Bloomington. Dee Swanson works as a nurse practitioner at the IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians Family & Internal Medicine office in Nashville.
Lee has 39 years of experience in nursing and nursing education. She has worked with IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians since 2010.
She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from The Ohio State University. Lee earned her post-master’s family nurse practitioner and pediatric nurse practitioner certificates from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. She earned her doctorate of nursing practice from George Washington University.
Swanson has more than 30 years of experience in nursing and nursing education. She has worked with IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians since 2004.
She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from Indiana University. Swanson also earned a post-master’s certificate in primary care for the adult and gerontology from Indiana University. She earned her doctorate of nursing practice from George Washington University.
