Medical Exploring Program Highlights Healthcare Careers

An IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Release

MUNCIE--Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital will again be partnering with the Boy Scouts of America to offer a Medical Exploring Program this spring open to ages 14-20. A registration and informational session will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, February 27, in the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Auditorium.  All interested should attend with a parent or guardian.

The Medical Exploring Program is designed to give youth an in depth look into different health care careers before they enter the working world. The programs provides youth an opportunity to learn, explore and tour healthcare settings and to participate in job-shadowing of health care professionals.

Participants will generally meet 1-2 Wednesdays each month at 6:30 pm at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. The cost to join is $25, and participants do not need to be a member of the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts to participate in the Medical Exploring Program.
