—MUNCIE, IN – Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce C. Douglas Lees, MD, has recently joined our Cardiothoracic Surgery team.

He completed his medical education at Glasgow University, Scotland, U.K., followed by residencies at the Cleveland Clinic in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.

As a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Lees has received numerous awards and distinctions from worldwide-recognized institutions and associations such as; Ohio Chapter of America College of Surgeons; Cleveland Surgical Society and The George and Grace Crile Traveling Fellowship Award.

Dr. Lees began seeing patients on February 2 at IU Health Ball Memorial Cardiovascular Surgery in Muncie, Indiana.

Attend the Supported Hearts and Better Breathers seminar to hear Dr. Lees educate the community about cardiac valve surgeries. This free and interactive event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 6 pm - 8 pm. It is located in the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Outpatient Medical Pavilion, rooms 1-3. 

IU Health Ball Memorial Cardiovascular Surgery facilities are located in the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Outpatient Medical Pavilion at 2525 W. University Avenue, Suite 502, Muncie, Ind.
