Type 2 Diabetes: What’s Your Risk? - Panel Discussion and Free Screenings
Lafayette, IN—Indiana University Health Arnett providers will lead a comprehensive panel presentation on type 2 diabetes on February 16.
The panel discussion will include Dr. Shannon Oates, Endocrinology, Dr. Sarah Hallberg, Internal Medicine, registered dietician Chris Schaub and diabetes educator Sue Robbins. Presenters will cover topics such as risk factors, healthy diet tips, screening procedures and information on living with type 2 diabetes.
Free diabetes screenings for qualified attendees will be provided before and after the presentation.
The event will take place on Thursday, February 16, 6 pm – 7 pm, on the Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette Creasy Lane campus in Ivy Hall, Lilly Room 1106. Space is limited; RSVPs and appointments for screenings are required.
