Jonathan Goble

President & Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan Goble most recently served as chief executive officer (CEO) and president of Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. IU Health La Porte is a 227-bed, not-for-profit health care facility serving La Porte and surrounding communities in Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan. Goble had been the CEO and president of IU Health La Porte since July 1999. Prior to his position as CEO and president, Goble served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for La Porte Hospital.

Randall Yust

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer

Randall Yust has 30 years' experience in health care finance and operations, serving previously at La Porte Regional Health System in LaPorte, Indiana, in the roles of interim president and chief executive officer in late 2004 and as vice president of finance and chief financial officer prior to that. For 13 years -- 1985 to 1998 -- Yust served as vice president/chief financial officer for Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, and from 1975 to 1985, Yust served Community Hospital of Anderson, Indiana, ending his time there as acting chief financial officer. Yust has excelled throughout his career with notable business development and financial success at the hospitals he has served.

Lynda Smirz

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Lynda Ann Smirz, MBA, is Indiana University Health North Hospital's first chief medical officer (CMO). Smirz is responsible for quality of services, continuous quality improvement and communication with various departments and physicians. She also is involved in administrative decision making, and operational and strategic planning for the Carmel facility. Smirz is also the managing partner at Women's Health Alliance, and a consultant for Eli Lilly and Company

Smirz came to Indianapolis to work for Eli Lilly and Company as a process research chemist. She then attended the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency in 1984. In private practice for 22 years, she specializes in women's health issues and lectures extensively on menopausal health, osteoporosis and female sexual dysfunction. Smirz completed her MBA at Butler University and currently sits on the Board of Visitors for the College of Business. She was featured in Indiana's Trailblazing Women for delivering the Dilley sextuplets, the first surviving sextuplets in the United States. A graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, Smirz is a board member and has traveled to Washington, DC, to discuss health care issues with various lawmakers.

Angela Thompson

Vice President of Human Resources and Support Services

Thompson has been in the human resources field since 1987, most recently as director of employment services for IU Health Partners, where she had served since 2001. Prior to IU Health, Thompson served at Conseco for 12 years and was promoted three times, serving as vice president of human resources prior to coming to IU Health. She also served as business manager at Kelley & Associates from 1987 to 1989.
