IU Health Bariatric & Medical Weight Loss is one of the only bariatric centers that offers both a surgical weight loss program and a non-surgical medically supervised weight loss program for those who do not qualify for weight loss surgery. Programs are customized to meet the patient’s needs, and support groups and educational classes are offered before, during, and after the weight loss journey. We have a comprehensive team composed of surgeons, bariatricians, nurses, fitness experts, registered dieticians, psychologists and a strong interdisciplinary team. Many of our surgeons, bariatricians, and psychologists are recognized as leaders in the field, and our surgeons have performed thousands of weight loss operations.
Join us for an educational seminar to speak with our surgeons, team of experts, and past patients to learn how weight loss surgery can help you gain control of your weight, regain health and start a new life. If you are interested in attending a seminar, please fill out our online registration form or call 317.275.7010 or 877.275.2555 (toll free) to reserve your spot. All patients are required to attend a seminar before starting their program. All seminars are held at IU Health Bariatric & Medical Weight Loss at 6640 Intech Blvd. Suite 300 in Indianapolis .
*Seminar schedules have recently changed to better accomodate our patients' schedules. IU Health Bariatric & Medical Weight Loss will still offer one evening and one weekend seminar each month starting in May, 2013. These seminars will be informational only, and you will be contacted within two business days to make your consultation appointment with a physician of your choice.
The rest of the seminars will be offered during the day each week, and will require a half day commitment and include the consultation appointment. These appointments are specific to each physician, so please check our calendar to make sure you are scheduling your appointment on that physician's seminar date.

12:30 pm - Dr. Jennifer Choi (every other Friday - please check calendar for specific dates)
8:30 am - Dr. Margaret Inman and Dr. Christopher Evanson each have one seminar per month (please check the calendar for specific dates)

Our seminars are held on the third Wednesday each month at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie at 6 pm and occasionally at other locations throughout central Indiana.
