Forget everything you previously thought about hospital food because Átrio is redefining what it means to dine at a hospital. With a menu that includes everything from gourmet soups, fresh pizza, a salad bar, made-to-order grill, fresh seafood and elegant desserts, Átrio is like no other restaurant.

All of the food at Átrio is prepared fresh daily, which means a healthy assortment of only the freshest fruits and vegetables and hand picked daily specials from Executive Chef Peter Fulgenzi.

There really is something for everyone at Átrio, and not just hospital guests. Since opening in December 2005, Átrio has enticed a lunch crowd from local businesses and even those who have taste for variety at dinner. However, the breakfast is the best deal in Carmel with made-to-order omelets, fresh baked goods and delicious biscuits and gravy.

Átrio truly is a dining experience like no other, and the fact that it is conveniently located at Indiana University Health North Hospital makes it even more accessible to those living in Indianapolis' north suburbs. Átrio on the Go

Átrio on the Go offers a diverse menu of meals and treats for both in-house and off-site events. Átrio on the Go combines gourmet food at great prices, with elegant displays and a wide variety of food options. Átrio on the Go can accommodate any situation.

In addition to on and off-site catering, Átrio provides room service to patients and guests. You chose when and what you want to eat with Átrio on the Go's room service. With 26 different menus to accommodate any dietary restrictions, even the most finicky eaters will find something to enjoy.

Coffee Bar

For a quick and light dining option, stop by the Coffee Bar, which serves freshly brewed coffees, teas and other grab-and-go items such as sandwiches, salads, yogurt parfaits and pastries.

All of the food items are made fresh daily and you will be able to enjoy a wide variety of specialty espresso options including Tazo tea and various soft drinks.

Vending Machines

Vending machines can be found at two locations in IU Health North Hospital. Off the grand atrium, vending machines are located just south of the Átrio entrance in an alcove that also includes a microwave and an ATM cash machine.

Vending machines are also located in the waiting area of the Emergency Department (southeast). Vending machines are available 24 hours a day. If you encounter a problem with a machine, please notify a guest relations associate.
