Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health North
The Best of Care for the Smallest of Patients.
Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health North Hospital puts the area’s best children’s doctors closer than ever. The Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health pediatric specialists, together with outstanding community pediatricians, create an environment that is family centered and focused on one thing: helping children get better.
No child wants to be sick. And certainly no parent wants his or her child to be hospitalized. But should children need the latest in care, IU Health North offers the peace of mind that comes with service and support from Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health's nationally recognized programs. Families can be comforted knowing that neonatal and pediatric intensivists and hospitalists are present 24 hours a day.
Even at the earliest stages of a child’s life, our collaboration with Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health ensures comprehensive care is readily available. IU Health North includes high risk maternal-fetal medicine services designed to care for at-risk patients (mothers and their undelivered children). In addition, our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is staffed by highly trained nurses and neonatologists specializing in the care of critically ill newborns.
All patient rooms for children are private, with plenty of space for family to stay around the clock. That privacy even extends to the NICU environment - a first in Indiana. Given the hospital's family centered care philosophy, parents can be with their children as much as is desired. Accomodations are comfortable even for the newly delivered mother.
