What is It?
INresearch.org is a secure, password-protected registry of Indiana resident volunteers who want to participate in health-related research. Signing up is free! The goal of this registry is to match interested volunteers with researchers. This registry was developed by the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, a collaboration between Indiana University, Purdue University and the University of Notre Dame. Our goal is to improve health care by discovering new treatments and cures.
INresearch.org aims to foster a community of volunteers who want to be part of the research process. Research studies are always looking for volunteers and many are never completed because they cannot find enough volunteers. By becoming a research volunteer, new treatments can be found and new drugs can be discovered which could help bring new medical treatments and services to Indiana, improve healthcare for you, your friends and your family, and bring more doctors and jobs to our neighborhoods.
Anyone 18 years or older and interested in participating in research studies may sign up. Children or dependent adults can also be part of INresearch.org however; their parent, guardian, or caregiver must sign up for them.
Signing up for INresearch.org, only means that researchers will contact you for studies that you may be eligible for. The goal of INresearch.org is to link volunteers with researchers. Participation in any research study is completely voluntary and you can refuse to participate in any study.
